The five churches in Poringland & Framingham Earl have come together to pray, worship and work as a united group of Christians.

The Friday Luncheon Club for the elderly and housebound has just celebrated its 20th anniversary (with a wonderful birthday party for 80 people!)  Four teams of cooks and drivers from the various churches ensure that the 24 Ladies and Gentlemen have a nourishing meal every Friday in the Methodist Church hall.

A barbecue and a Harvest Barn Dance/Supper are arranged annually to raise money for @mosphere—a local Christian Youth Group, which meets at the Free Church.

The Julian Prayer Group meets on the last Wednesday of the month (in the home of a member) and monthly Sunday evening services enable us to pray together in each others churches.

During Lent, a Passover meal is shared , on Good Friday a walk of witness, short service and refreshments and at Christmas, carol singing outside the local supermarket.

Our last PFECT fundraiser was a very successful BARN DANCE/SUPPER held at the new Community Centre on 26th September 2009.
